Role Overview Job Title: Functional Consultant - Origami Platform Location: Remote Type: Contract Job Summary: As a Functional Analyst with Origami platform expertise, you will play a key role in gathering business requirements, configuring the Origami platform, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of solutions. You will bridge the gap between business users and technical teams, ensuring that the Origami platform meets business needs effectively and efficiently. You will also ensure that clients receive tailored solutions for insurance workflows leveraging Origamis capabilities. Key Responsibilities: Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for Origami platform implementations. Configure and customize the Origami platform to align with business needs and specific client requirements. Work closely with business users to understand their insurance processes and provide functional solutions using Origami. Design and map business processes to the Origami platform, ensuring that the solution streamlines operations and improves efficiency. Conduct gap analysis between business requirements and Origami platform functionality and provide recommendations for optimization. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver a solution that meets client requirements. Create detailed functional specifications, including use cases, user stories, and system requirements for Origami platform projects. Lead and facilitate workshops with business users to gather requirements and clarify project goals. Develop test plans, conduct system testing, and ensure that the platform functions according to client specifications. Ensure successful integration between the Origami platform and other systems, ensuring data integrity and seamless operation. Prepare user documentation, user training materials, and provide training to end-users on Origami. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the implementation phase or post-deployment. Stay current with new features and capabilities of the Origami platform and provide best practice recommendations. Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders and provide updates on project status and deliverables. ________________________________________ Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience as a Functional Analyst, with hands-on experience working with the Origami platform. Strong understanding of Origami platform configuration and customization, including its features and workflows. Familiarity with insurance industry processes such as policy administration, underwriting, claims management, and billing. Experience in gathering and documenting business requirements, preparing functional specifications, and creating process flow diagrams. Ability to translate complex business processes into platform configurations. Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and how to apply them in the context of functional analysis. Experience in system integrations and working with APIs and third-party tools. Excellent communication skills to interact with both business users and technical teams. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Experience with tools such as JIRA or Confluence for requirement tracking and project management. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications: Familiarity with other insurance platforms or core systems such as Guidewire, Salesforce, or similar. Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and deployment strategies for platforms like Origami. Experience in data migration and understanding of insurance-specific data models. Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
