Job Description Job Title: Data/DWH Engineer with Salesforce Location: [REMOTE] Type: [Contract] Position Overview: Data/DWH Engineer We are seeking a Data/DWH Engineer to design and implement scalable Salesforce solutions tailored to business needs. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, integration, and development, along with strong leadership and problem-solving skills. Key Responsibilities: Business Objects Development, Tableau Development and Informatica ETL Design and build Business Objects Universes to support robust reporting solutions. Troubleshoot report issues with missing data and analyze report queries. Develop, optimize, and maintain Web Intelligence (Webi) reports for business stakeholders. Create and enhance Crystal Reports to meet specialized business reporting needs. Data Visualization Build dynamic and interactive Tableau dashboards for actionable insights. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into visual analytics solutions. SQL and Data Analysis Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex Teradata SQL queries to support data analysis and reporting needs. Design and maintain ETL workflows using Informatica for seamless data integration and transformation. Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data and reporting needs. Document processes, workflows, and system designs for maintainability and scalability. Leverage AWS tools (e.g., Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda) to develop and maintain scalable cloud data solutions. Assist in migrating on-premises data solutions to the cloud environment. Collaboration and Documentation Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 5+ years of experience in business intelligence and data engineering roles. Preferred Skills: Proficiency in Business Objects Universe design and Webi report development. Advanced skills in Crystal Reports design and maintenance. Experience creating Tableau dashboards for data visualization. Expertise in Teradata SQL and query optimization. Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter or similar ETL tools. Familiarity with AWS data engineering tools and concepts (preferred). Strong problem-solving skills and keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders. Experience with Agile development methodologies. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python for data manipulation. Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and best practices.
