Manage day-to-day activities and influence team members to leverage, follow and support agile software development practices. Interface with product owner and key stakeholders in Project Management, Business, QA and Technology Operations to ensure high quality delivery of software projects on time and budget. Work with Scrum Master and product owner to provide development sizings & cost analysis estimates. Must Have Skills COBOL, CICS, DB2, Basic IBM OS/Z, SQL, JCL, MQ Preferred Skills: 8+ years of professional experience building high performance Mainframe applications using Cobol. Deep experience with the following: VSAM, ISPF, MVS, Websphere MQ. Familiarity with Rational Application Developer, TFS / Jira. Nice-to-have skills: Experience with web services (SOAP, REST) is a plus. Experience with XML is a plus. Experience with Java or .Net is a plus. Strong leadership capabilities with architect ambitions. Strong interest in industry trends, technology innovation, and best practices. Experience with Agile Development Practices, particularly Scrum, a plus.
