In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Azure DevOps to build, deploy, and manage CI/CD pipelines, while using your Java knowledge to support the development of applications and ensure smooth, automated deployment processes. You will collaborate with development and operations teams to implement best practices for DevOps, ensuring the continuous integration and delivery of high-quality software. Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines on Azure DevOps to support efficient and reliable software delivery. Collaborate with development teams to integrate Java-based applications into the Azure DevOps pipeline. Automate and streamline the development and deployment processes, ensuring minimal manual intervention and improved efficiency. Work with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes for managing microservices. Manage Azure-based infrastructure and services, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. Monitor and maintain production and staging environments, implementing automated solutions for system health and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve deployment issues across Azure environments and Java applications. Support and improve source control management, using Git, and establish branching strategies. Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for software delivery, monitoring, and security. Work with stakeholders to define requirements and optimize deployment pipelines based on project needs. Collaborate with teams to implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or ARM templates. Required Skills and Experience: 5-8 years of experience working in DevOps or related roles, with a strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices. Proven experience in Azure DevOps, including pipeline creation, management, and automation. Strong knowledge of Java development, including experience with Java frameworks (Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.) and familiarity with Java application builds, deployments, and configurations. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, integrating various tools to automate software deployment. Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration. Experience with Azure services like Azure App Services, Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, and Azure Functions. Good understanding of version control systems, specifically Git, and experience managing code repositories and branching strategies. Strong knowledge of scripting languages like Bash, Power, or Python for automation tasks. Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or ARM templates for defining and managing cloud resources. Solid understanding of cloud architecture and services, with a focus on Azure. SQL knowledge for managing databases and troubleshooting data-related issues. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system and application issues in a cloud environment. Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus, etc.) for system health and application performance. Knowledge of security best practices for cloud-based applications and infrastructure. Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
