Perform user role management, data masking, and implementation of Snowflake best practices. Performance Optimization: Monitor query performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize data pipelines. Tune Snowflakes architecture for efficient storage and compute resource utilization. Data Integration: Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate Snowflake with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Matillion) and other data sources. Oversee ingestion and transformation of data from diverse sources into Snowflake. Data Governance and Security: Ensure compliance with data security and privacy regulations. Implement and maintain data governance policies, including data encryption and auditing. Maintenance and Upgrades: Stay up-to-date with Snowflake releases and features. Plan and execute platform updates with minimal downtime. Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support for Snowflake-related issues. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve incidents promptly. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Proven experience as a Snowflake Administrator or similar role. Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, security, and performance tuning. Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and technologies. Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and database management. Experience with ETL tools and data integration processes. Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their integration with Snowflake. Knowledge of scripting languages like Python or scripting is a plus.
