Build Automation Frameworks Design and implement robust automation frameworks with a strong quality-first mindset. Optimize QA Processes Develop reliable, repeatable QA processes using automation, load, and performance testing. Ensure Stability & Performance Create test plans, execute functional, integration, and regression testing, and troubleshoot issues efficiently. Enhance Customer Experience Proactively recommend improvements and ensure a seamless user experience at every touchpoint. Technical Requirements 17+ years in QA, including 15+ years in test automation Expertise in API testing (Karate, Postman, Soap UI, similar tools, proficiency in UI testing (Playwright, Selenium or similar tools). Strong fundamentals and hands-on experience in load/performance testing, CI/CD integration, mobile automation, and AWS cloud solutions Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, Agile, automation systems, databases, and programming languages (JavaScript, Java, Python). Proficiency in Git, Jira, and DevOps pipelines. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills. Preferred AWS cloud solutions experience 1. Hands-On Test Automation Activities (50%) Design and Development : Architect, design, and implement scalable, reusable, and maintainable test automation frameworks for web, mobile, and API-based applications. Script Development : Write, review, and optimize automated test scripts Tool Evaluation : Research, evaluate, and recommend new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the automation ecosystem. Code Quality : Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and version control processes for automation scripts and frameworks. Defect Management : Identify, document, and track defects, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution. Continuous Integration : Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) to enable continuous testing and faster feedback loops. 2. Oversight and Coordination of QA activities of applications handled by Offshore team (30%) Project Oversight & Leadership : Oversee the execution of QA projects across multiple applications, ensuring alignment with business goals and timelines. Offshore Coordination : Manage and mentor offshore QA teams, providing technical guidance, resolving blockers, and ensuring deliverables meet quality standards. Process Improvement & Innovation : Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies and identify opportunities and potential solutions to improve the overall QA process. Reporting and Metrics : Generate and present detailed testing & test automation reports, metrics, and dashboards to stakeholders for periodic progress updates. 3. Collaboration with Product Owners and Onshore Overlap (20%) Requirement Analysis : Collaborate with product owners, dev team & DevOps to understand application requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria, ensuring comprehensive test coverage & ensure end-to-end quality across the software development lifecycle. Stakeholder Communication : Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating technical details into actionable insights and vice versa. Onshore Overlap : Ensure significant overlap with onshore work hours to facilitate real-time communication, and increased visibility of offshore QA activities, decision-making, and issue resolution.
