Role: GIS Developer Location: Houston, TX (hybrid) Duration: 12 + Months JD: Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced GIS Developer to code for large GIS projects for the Energy Industry Clients. The GIS Developer builds web mapping applications and web services on the .NET environment using Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, and the JavaScript API. Build and publish map services, web maps, ArcSDE databases, and geo-processing tools to streamline existing geospatial procedures. Job Responsibilities: Responsible for software coding to best practices, database implementation, and overall desktop and web application development projects. Reviews the physical design and performs the technology evaluations Implements the physical design aka application development Helps to identify risks to the physical architecture or construction effort Communicates progress to the Project Manager and Technology Architect to help ensure the project stays on track Implements testing plans Required Qualifications: BS or MS in Computer Science, Geography, GIS, or MIS Excellent presentation, written and verbal communication skills 4+ years of ArcGIS Desktop or ArcGIS Pro 1+ years of ArcGIS Enterprise (aka - Portal) installation 2+ years of ArcGIS Enterprise administration 2+ years of Python or FME 3+ years of development experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript and Web AppBuilder Widgets In-depth knowledge of using Visual Studio as IDE 3+ years of ASP.NET core or web development in C# with Visual Studio or relevant IDE expertise 2+ years of SQL scripts and stored procedure creation experience 2+ years of IT System Administration, working with web servers, active directory and groups, firewall and ports, VPN Desired Qualifications: Domain knowledge of GIS in Oil & Gas and public sector organizations Hands-on experience with DevOps for project tracking and CI/CD pipeline Thanks & Regards Rakesh Schrill Technologies Keywords: csharp continuous integration continuous deployment information technology microsoft Texas http://bit.ly/4ey8w48 https://jobs.nvoids.com/job_details.jsp?id=672309&uid= |
