Role: Siemens PLC Consultant Location: Farmington Hills, MI (day1 onsite) Duration: FTE (Full Time) JD: As a Siemens PLC Programmer you will play a crucial role in the design, programming, testing, and implementation of Siemens Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) for our industrial automation projects. You will work closely with our engineering and project management teams to ensure the successful execution of automation projects. Key Responsibilities: Develop PLC programs using Siemens programming software Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain Siemens PLC hardware. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to gather and define project requirements. Participate in the design and layout of control systems. Test and debug PLC programs to ensure functionality and reliability. Commission and start-up PLC-controlled systems at client sites. Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients. Keep up-to-date with Siemens PLC technology advancements and industry best practices. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience in Siemens PLC programming and control systems design. Proficiency in Siemens TIA Portal software. Knowledge of industrial automation protocols (e.g., Profibus, Profinet). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Willingness to travel to client sites for commissioning and support.
